These terms cover buying from Luxa Commerce. Plain language, and they say what we
will actually do.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we dispatch it, not when you place it. If
we cannot fulfil an order we cancel it and refund in full — we will not substitute a
different product without asking you first.
Prices
Prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes where shown at checkout.
Shipping is added at checkout and is shown before you pay. If a price is listed wrongly through
an obvious error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel.
Stock
We hold stock of most lines. Where something is on back-order we say so on the product page
and give the date we expect it. If a back-order slips by more than ten business days you may
cancel for a full refund.
Measurements and descriptions
Measurements are the manufacturer’s, and timber and leather vary in colour between batches.
Photographs are representative. If a dimension matters to your order, email us before buying
and we will measure the item we would actually ship you.
Assembly and installation
Furniture is supplied flat-packed with instructions and fixings. We do not install. Desk
frames and bench desks require two people to assemble safely, and the instructions say so.
Liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are fit for ordinary
office use. We are not responsible for losses that do not follow from that — lost working
time, or the cost of a tradesperson booked before a delivery arrived.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here reduces the rights you have under Canadian consumer law. Where these terms and
the law disagree, the law wins.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of
Canada that apply there.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when
you placed it.
